| SKYNYRD'S INNYRDS - A Tribute to the Lynyrd Skynyrd SKYNYRD'S INNYRDS have established themselves as the authentic tribute act to the original Lynyrd Skynyrd Band throughout southern California, winning over audiences at every show. The boys got as far as the semi-finals in the 2011 Ultimate Music Challenge sponsored by Jack FM 100.7 and Viejas Casino. The fun that is their stage shows have taken them to Las Vegas, Arizona, and the battle houses and honky-tonks of Historic Route 66. Playing classic Skynyrd songs brings back to feeling of washing your car getting ready to cruise Saturday night! SKYNYRD’S INNYRDS pays homage to the band before the tragic October 20th, 1977 plane crash that took the lives of Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines and Dean Kilpatrick. SKYNYRD’S INNYRDS’ song list includes many classics and some obscure Skynyrd tunes. The band’s lineup includes Duncan Lancaster (vocals), Trevor Edwards (guitar), Ian Holloway (guitar), Doc (bass), Chuck Chaffin (drums). So many people at the shows have said, “I can close my eyes, and I hear Skynyrd!” That is mainly because the boys play each song with the respect that Lynyrd Skynyrd deserves. When SKYNYRD'S INNYRDS take the stage, it is a complete tribute to America’s greatest and hardest working band. We love to meet people at each show who have a Skynyrd story to tell. And these people love Lynyrd Skynyrd so much, that each person always says, “Skynyrd is my band!” So many people relate to the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd that we just had to put this project together. First, we are all huge fans just like anyone. And second, because the music is very exciting to play. We of course love the reaction we get when we hit the first note!
